How to use CBD for sunburns ☀️

Summer is well underway. Surely, you’ve gotten carried away once or twice, spending a little too much time by the pool or the beach without sunblock. We’ve all been there.

To get the most out of your sunblock protection, it’s recommended to reapply every two hours to keep the skin protected. If you don’t, we’re sorry to tell you that first application will not do much. It might not even do anything at all.

Not applying sunblock while outside, even if it’s cloudy, is a mistake. High summer temperatures can still damage the skin, even if the sun isn’t directly hitting it or it doesn’t feel too hot outside.

Sunburn is the inflammation of cells sent to the damaged area to prevent further damage. It’s the body’s way of attempting to heal itself and tell you to get out of the sun.

When the exposure is prolonged, it can cause redness, pain, peeling the skin and sometimes even other effects like headaches, nausea, vomiting and even fainting...

How does noteCBD help? 🍯

As we know, CBD has anti-inflammatory and pain-relief properties. CBD helps heal and hydrate damaged skin naturally, while reducing sensitivity.

Applying noteCBD Therapeutic Lotion to sunburn can go a long way and even help heal the skin in as little as days!

Simply apply softly on directly on the damaged skin and reapply as often as needed.

You can even add a dropper of your tincture to the mix if you’re feeling nauseous or lightheaded.

Bonus ☀️

If you’d like to prevent damage to begin with, you can infuse your sunblock with noteCBD.

By infusing your sunblock with CBD, you add the anti-inflammatory and relieving properties of CBD to it!

Place the amount of sunblock you normally use on the palm of your hand, ddd a few drops of tincture to your sunblock, and rub your hands together. Then apply as usual.

noteCBD does wonders when it comes to wellness and there are countless ways to apply it to everyday life 😉

Stay tuned for the next Wellness Wednesday!
